RARE **STEREO** 6TH UK PRESSING, GRAMOPHONE RIM, WITH SOLD IN UK… LABEL TEXT, **SMALL** STEREO PRINTED TO SLEEVE
This is a RARE 1965 UK PARLOPHONE **STEREO** 6TH PRESSING for The Beatles second UK Album ‘WITH THE BEATLES’.
The 12" Stereo Vinyl LP is of the same Vinyl QUALITY to that of the 1963 release and is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim and ‘Sold in UK….’ label text.
Official side 1 matrix: YEX 110-2 and Side 2: YEX 111-2.
Side 1 stampers are: P and Side 2: RD.
The album comes in a white Polythene Lined Bag and is housed in its correct and ORIGINAL Garrod and Lofthouse Front LAMINATED Three flipback sleeve featuring a SMALL ‘stereo’ printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve..
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL through all the tracks, with NO skips or clicks.
Both record labels are in NICE excellent condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT labels, showing only light centre spider trails to either side. Side 1 of the Vinyl disc is excellent plus, with only a couple of light surface hairlines. Side 2 of the Vinyl disc is in VERY RESPECTABLE excellent condition, showing a few more surface hairlines than side 1, but certainly NO deep scratches or scuffs to either side. The inner bag is in FINE, UNDAMAGED condition, just some light creasing. The LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse picture sleeve is in excellent minus condition. the Front Panel is GLOSSY, showing light record indentation and a few laminate pinches but nothing seriious. The reverse of the sleeve is RESPECTABLE with some age toning/handling marks to the opening edge and a neat line of sellotape running down the opening edge. The spine edge is FIRM and clearly reads ‘With The Beatles’.
UK STEREO 6th Pressings of this EARLY Beatles album are HARD TO FIND as only a SMALL BATCH were pressed at the time. NICE all round example
