This vinyl LP belongs to my husband who moved here 10 years ago from Lancashire England. All his vinyl we will be listing was purchased in the U.K.
The Beatles “White Album” Apple PCS 7067/8, Stereo, Double Album, Matrix Side 1 YEX 709-1, Side 2 YEX 710-2, Side 3 YEX 711-1, Side 4 YEX 712-1 (1968 1st Pressing, UK Issue, Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold outer sleeve embossed “The Beatles” and “No. 0408250” stamped on front, Top-opening outer sleeve, Small “Stereo” text on rear of cover, Original four color pictures of each of the Beatles in mint condition with one paper sheet divider. No poster. “Sold in UK subject to resale price conditions, see price lists” statement on discs)
Disc 1: Condition VG, some surface “skating” marks and light scratches, slight wear marks around spindle hole. Side 1: Plays clean with no pops or skips. Side 2: Crackles around 'Don't pass me by' and 'Why don't we do it in the road' No skips. Please note that all of these were played with treble set to full, playing with treble set to medium minimizes or significantly reduces this
Paper Sleeve 1: Original black paper sleeve, Very worn with some tearing around centre hole
Disc 2: Condition VG, some surface “skating” marks and light scratches, slight wear marks around spindle hole. Side 3: 'Sexy Sadie' pops and crackles, 'Long Long Long' crackles right through. No skips. Side 4: Some crackles apparent in quieter passages. No skips. Please note that all of these were played with treble set to full, playing with treble set to medium minimizes or significantly reduces this
Paper Sleeve 2: Original black paper sleeve, Very worn
Outer Sleeve: VG condition, slightly faded white, earlier top opening edition, stamped No. 0408250
