You are bidding on the Beatles White Album, Catalog No. SWBO-101. This is a low serial number (0122066). "The Beatles" is embossed on the front cover. It has all of the seven typographical errors on the labels, including the very rare missing question mark on "Why don't we do it in the road". See the photos of the label to verify all typographical errors. The numbers in the runouts are as follows. Side 1: SWBO-1-101-B35; Side 2: SWBO-2-101-A34; Side 3: SWBO-3-101-B37; Side 4: SWBO-4-101-A36. I am not an expert at grading records, but I would estimate the condition of the vinyl of all four sides as VG. But, be aware that there are light scratches, including some long ones over the length of the record. I have test played the entire album, and it plays without skipping. It sounds great, with incredible separation and fullness of sound. There are crackles and pops noticeable in between songs and on the quiet portions of songs (e.g., "Blackbird"), but except for the quiet songs, the imperfections do not (in general) take away from the sound or overpower the music. On most songs, no pops or ticks are noticeable, as I said, except on the quieter songs. Incredible condition for being this old. The cover has signs of wear. and the sides are split (see photos). The labels are in great, clean shape. The one exception is Side 3, which has a couple of very, very small tears in the label (see photo). They are hardly noticeable, but they are there on close inspection. The poster (photos one side, lyrics on the other) is nice and clean. There is one tear where it has been folded for years (see photos). No postcards are included. Only what is shown in the photos is included. This is a very rare album. I think it is a first pressing from what I see on the internet, but you should confirm that for yourself from the runout numbers prior to bidding. Confirmation of 1st pressing is buyer's responsibility prior to bidding. Sold only to continental USA.
