This is a UK 1st pressing from November 22nd  1968, Earliest 1st pressing on the dark green apple labels with all stating ' An EMI Recording'  and ' Sold in U.K subject to resale price...' 100% Genuine complete with top opening fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse numbered cover ( stereo 0429922 ) black inner sleeves, poster and potrait photo of each beatle. 

Side 1 / 2  matrix: YEX 709-1 (1 RL)     YEX 710-1 (2GDO) 
Side 3 / 4  matrix: YEX 711-2 (1 GPD)  YEX 712-1 (1 OG)

Sleeve condition: EX ( Very clean example with no tears or laminate lifting, still very white with no toning or stains etc. The top opening edges are unworn and sharp, just a couple of tiny marks and creases and little bump on a corner. The spine is not split or torn but there is a crease in the middle from opening,very nice example.

Vinyl condition: Visualy EX (All sides look very clean with a bright fresh shine, no scratches or blemishes present on any playing surface, when viewed under halogen lighting, a couple of faint hairlines and the odd wispy mark are visable but overall all look in excellent condition )

Audibly  EX- ( All side play without any jumps or skips etc with clear sound throughout, there is a little low hiss/crackle from time to time but it's very quiet when present on the songs and very short, more present inbetween tracks, this is mainly due to the fact it's never been cleaned for a long long time and not because it's been used and abused,both discs are in very nice condition but would definately benefit from a good clean.)

Label condition: EX+(no writing or stains present on any label, just some spindle spidering around the centre hole, which is only visable when you tilt the disc in direct light, very clean examples)

Inners: VG+ ( Both are the original black inner sleeves with the hole-cut in the centre, they have a little wear around the top edges and some creases but both side presentable and do what they are supposed to )

Poster:EX- ( This is the original poster issued with the set, no writing or stains present just some small splits on the folds but otherwise clean shape ) 

Pictures:M-  ( All the pictures in stunning condition with no pin holes or tape attached, certainely havn't been hung on a wall and i wouldn't  be surprised if they havn't been out of the cover before now )
