Description
The Beatles the white album 1st issue MONO UK LP Matrix numbers are XEX 709 - 1, XEX 710 - 1, XEX 711 - 3, XEX 712 - 1.
This is a very rare press - I've not seen another -3 copy on a first issue sold in UK record. The labels all have EMI recording on them. The cover is number 0152248.
This is the rare first pressing MONO issue of the Beatles seminal white album.
Labels all state "sold in uk subject to resale price conditions" and have "An EMI recording"
The vinyl grades VG+ and the cover grades VG +. The vinyl has some light marks but nothing deep. There are no skips or repeats, occasional low level surface noise in quieter moments but always well below the music. It's a really nice listen. I've only listened with a stereo cartridge, with a mono one it will sound even better!
Black inners are included and are complete but a bit worn. The original Matt finish is included with no tears, and the original pictures are included, also in clean condition. Also comes with a rare "A is for Apple" sticker, indicating this may have been a promo or competition giveaway. Maybe bought from the Apple Store? Who knows but it's a nice thing to have included in the set.
It plays wonderfully from start to finish.
I'm sure any buyer will be delighted but in the unlikely event you're not, I always give a full refund upon return of the record in the same condition.
