THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' (WHITE ALBUM)
This 100% complete NEAR MINT UK stereo double LP dates from early 1971 and is on the light green Apple Records label: PCS 7067/8
All labels omit the 'Sold in UK....' text but retain the 'Apple Publishing' credits for George & Ringo's compositions.
Disc 1 matrices: YEX 709-1 & YEX 710-1.
Stamper codes: 1/HO & 7/GOH

Stamper codes: 1/GHR & 3/GHO

Housed within a fully laminated, side-opening 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold cover uniquely numbered on the front: No. 153339
Complete with original UK printed poster, 4 colour portrait photos, protector sheet & both original 'Apple copyright' worded plain white inner-sleeves.

All are in immaculate with no spindle marks or wear around any centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
All playing surfaces are 'as new' and retain all of their deep gloss shine with just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. All sides of this fabulous copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Both discs appear to be unplayed and apart from some light vinyl background on the fade-in to 'Back In The USSR', the sound unworn and wonderful throughout. My single careful playcheck at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear or a single click, pop or tick anywhere. The sound quality from these 1st pressing matrices cannot be beaten and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Carefully stored within a non-smoking environment, this early 2nd issue example is clean and white throughout with just a few minor blemishes to the card stick running vertically but no major faults. The laminate is clean & unscratched and the only sign of wear is a single small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge.
There is a small shelfwear bump to the lower right corner but no and a small bruise to the rear upper right but all of the side-opening edges are sharp and undamaged..
The inside of the gatefold is as clean & unworn as the outer panels.
There is a 7mm section of missing laminate at the upper part of the spine but both sets of text are undamaged and readable. Both upper & lower seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Poster: NEAR MINT
Clean & fully intact with a few light handling wrinkles and 4 small age-spots, but never hung or likely to have been opened more than once or twice at most.

Apart from a few small foxing spots of the white border of John's portrait, all are 'as new'.
