Description
Auction is for The Beatles White Album from my own collection of old records
It has on the front an embossed or raised style lettering of "The Beatles" and a serial number 0008974
I cant remember when I bought it exactly other than when they first came out.
It has the Apple labels as seen in pics.
There are numbers inscribed into the record such as
SWBO 4-101-J40 SWBO 3-101--J40 SWBO 2-101-J40 - SWBO 1-101-J41
There is a poster with pictures on 1 side and lyrics on the other side included and also
4 individual pictures of the Beatles
The album cover opens from the sides and the front top is split, the back side top is split part way
This came with black sleeves I think but they are long gone and the albums are in old white sleeves, one much older than the other.
the albums themselves are in not very good condition and have been well played with some scratches and some skips on some songs
I played them today for probably the first time in 20 years and they are fairly noisy on some songs and I would rate them not real good for the most part.
Cleaning may help some but I doubt that much.
The labels are in pretty good condition as seen from the pics and the cover has held up fairly well considering all the playing time this album got.
A cool piece of history and that low serial number makes it one of the older versions.
