Beatles White Album Vinyl LP Top Load low No. 0075902 Stereo.
One owner since new, I'm selling it on behalf of my friend. It has been played 'lovingly' and has been generally well looked after. It has been stored in the loft recently.
I've listed it as 'good' condition as I don't want to over-estimate it's condition.
It is certainly not in the pristine 'mint condition' that many collectors want, but I would be happy to have this album as my 'playing copy'. It is in better condition than my own copy which I've looked after well.
I've played all the tracks, and all of them play without any jumps. There are a few clicks here and there, but surprisingly few for records of this age.
It's definitely a stereo version. The 'Helter Skelter' track has Ringo's "I've got blisters on my fingers" at the end. My friend recalls insisting on a stereo copy as his record player was stereo compatible. It was bought from WH Smiths in Cowley, Oxford UK soon after it's release.
The spine of the album has the following detail which is hard to photograph - 'The BEATLES Stereo PCS 7067-8 Mono PMC 7067-8'. There is no 'Stereo' marking on the back which some experts say indicates it's not a Mono copy.
The 4 photographs are in excellent condition.
I've highlighted some obvious areas where the condition is not great.
The vinyl albums have some marks - the most concerning is the one on side 3 - the photo has a red spot nearby - but the track plays ok.
The poster has a couple of tears, where something has stuck two sides together - shown on photos with red spots.
In summary, it's in good playable condition with obvious signs of some wear and tear.
