Firstly may I say that I am not a dealer or collector and I am selling a collection of mine which is 1960-1970 vintage which has been replaced by CD and has not been used for 20-30 years. I will describe this LP as I see and hear it.
I can answer questions and there are more photos to help describe its condition.
This is a 1968 first pressing mono copy from Apple PMC 7067 and PMC 7068 as sold in the UK with a top opening sleeve, black inners, lyric sheet and four photos. It has been played in its early days but not for 20-30 years or more until now.
The sleeve is in good condition with laminate all in tact even down the spine and is clean apart from a couple of spots about 1mm wide. The colour is jaded white with slight yellowing along the top edge. Its difficult to bring this out on a photo but the first two below are against white gloss paint. There is very little wear on the corners or the opening. There is some grubbiness along the edge of the overlaps see photo. The number 0029819 is clear as are the photos and print inside.
The inners are good and have some creasing in the usual places. On one there is a 1cm tear from the inner circle, on the other a similar tear of 1/2 cm.
The disc labels show XEX 709 to XEX 712 and are clean with minor spindle slip shine which can be seen under light.. Photo below shows cleanliness and clarity representative of all four labels.
The vinyl of disc 1 has some scuffing visible under light. Disc 2 has a couple of hairline scratches on each side and scuffing as disc 1. The do not affect the play in my view. There is no warp, jumps, pops etc. they play through properly but there is a light scratch/crackle which is prevalent - more audible on quiet tracks and in between tracks.
The photos are excellent.
The lyric sheet shows wear along the folds, has some creasing where it hasnt been put into the sleeve carefully and has two tears about 1 cm starting along the outside edges of two of the folds. see photo.
