Outstanding and stunning nearmint-  vinyl.

Very, very, very early copy of first pressing in 1968-
....."an emi recording" is not printed on the label, and
.....First mothers  even the very, very first mother/stamper ie 1G

LPs
* An extremely early copy of the first pressing because the words "an emi recording" is not printed to the left of the spindle hole (disc2).  This would have been sold on the very first day.
* First mother on 3 sides !! Side 2 even has first mother AND first stamper (the letter G was the emi code for 1)
*  Mother/stampers are 1G, 1AP, GPG and 4GRT
* Original 1st pressing from 1968
* "Sold in UK subject to..." printed on all LP labels (first press).
* First matrix numbers on all sides YEX709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
* Label number PCS 7067 and PCS 7068 ie stereo 
 * Dark green Apple label
* All four sides played and listened to right through, and individually rated  NearMint, Nearmint- or EX+

Outer Sleeve
* Original laminated outer sleeve by Garrod and Lofthouse.
* Excellent+++ condition.
* A very white front cover - most 40 year old covers have aged to an off-white/yellow.
* Only a very few small creases in the laminate.
* 8mm widespine
* Top-loading  - 1st issue
* Numbered copy, 0463827 stamped on front cover.
* "The Beatles" embossed in the laminate on front cover. 
* The word "stereo" at the top right of the rear of the cover.
* Very nice undamaged spine, with all the laminate still complete except for a 5mm section near the top. 

Poster
* Lyrics poster.
* Made by Garrod and Lofthouse, correctly identified as such on the back/bottom right corner.
* Excellent condition on the front face with no tears, no writing and no damage.
* Rear face also has no damage, no tears, no writing, no stains.  The seams on the back have been strengthened with invisible tape.
* No pinholes.

Black Inner Sleeves
* Original 1968 matt black paper inner sleeves, (with the hole diecut on just 1 side.)
* The  sleeves are in VG++/VG+ condition . 
* Sleeve 1 has no seam splits, no tears, no writing, some fraying of the central hole.
*  Sleeve 2 has some light rubbing  along the top opening edge, no writing and no damage except two small tears on the central hole.

LP -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through. 

Side 1 -  Visually Nearmint- not a mark visible on the vinyl in normal light.  In very strong light a faint scuff mark can be found on track2. Play graded Nearmint Wonderful sound on this disc, no background noises, no crackles, no hops, no jumps, no ticks, no noise between tracks.  On the whole side I noticed just one very faint click in track6 Bungalow Bill.
Side 2 - Visually EX+++ three faint scuffs on one side.  These were not detectable in the sound track.  Play overall graded EX+  Play of all tracks was perfect but a few quiet clicks were detected in the quiet gaps between tracks 1/2 and 5/6.
Side 3 - Visually graded EX+++  three light superficial scratch marks on one side. Play of the whole side was perfect with no crackles, no ticks, no clicks, no hops, etc until the start of the last track. Some regular light clicks were heard in the gap between tracks6/7 and during the quiet music at the start of track 7. Play graded overall EX+
Side 4 - Visually Nearmint- in normal light, completely unmarked.  In strong light some faint rubbing marks can be detected.  Play graded EX++ No hops, no jumps, no ticks, no crackles or any other regular noises.  A few odd quiet clicks spread throught the 6 tracks.
