Offered for sale is a rare white vinyl copy of the Beatles White Album, released in France in 1978 as a limited edition pressing. (there are no photos or poster included)
In 1978, the White Album was released as a limited edition pressing on white vinyl in several countries, including the U.S., the UK, and France. The French pressings of the whitealbum are quite scarce, as few were exported. Manufactured By – Pathé Marconi EMI
Issued in a double-pocket gatefold sleeve. Covers are a marbled off-white, with "The Beatles" embossed (raised lettering)on the front
Cat# on spine and back cover is: SMO 2051/2. Unlike prior releases, there are no numbers printed on the cover.
The cover is in VG++ condition, with just a slight dent in upper right corner. There is some overall discoloration or “foxing” on the cover due to age; that is, it is not pure white. This is quite common on this title.
The records are M- and may be unplayed. They are pure white and are beautiful!
