Description
First, the album jacket: Almost invisible ringwear faintly appears in the front cover's upper right corner. The jacket (and the four photos) have wood pulp lightly flecked throughout, which is how the company produced the jacket. I mention this to anyone who has only seen the American version, which is purely white. It's actually a cool design, and looks a bit funkier than the American all-white cover. The black sticker on the front cover reads: Pressung WEISS and Direct Metal Mastering with a DMM trademark. The album is stamped No. 104869 on the cover.
The white vinyl has been played only once! I know, because I am the original owner! You won't find a cleaner copy of this album! The label reads GEMA, and has the Apple image on both records.
Also included are the poster and four photos. A neat feature of the photos are that they are printed on stiff paper stock like the original American release, and not the flimsy paper of later issues.
This is a great sounding album, and German pressings of Beatles albums have a stellar reputation . Imagine what a German direct metal mastering sounds like! Imagine no more! Happy bidding!
