THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**EXCELLENT EARLY COPY**
This fine 1963 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The label publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Jobete Mus. NCB'
Track 4, side 2 is misspelt 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'
A 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in an early, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with the 'darker' front image.
This cover has the 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misspelling on the rear panel.
Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2
Stamper numbers: 3/RT & 2/RO

Both sides are in superb condition, retaining their original deep gloss shines and undulled by overplay or incorrect long-term storage.
Viewed in direct strong daylight, side 1 is Mint. Side 2 bears just a small single light scuff line & 2mm scratch on track 1.
Careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals no further markings or wear whatsoever.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This disc has recieved only seldom & careful play on top quality equipment and reproduction in both channels is perfect on every track.
There is no trace of any background crackle/noise or groovewear distortion and both run-ins and all bands play silently.
Apart from a 2 revolution tick on 'Roll Over Beethoven', there is no further evidence of any audible wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT
An extremely clean & strong example with an unyellowed, unscratched high-gloss front laminate which bears just a few light wrinkles but no other wear.
All corners are clean, unbumped & unbruised and the opening edges are clean & sharp without any major wear.
The rear panel is white showing just a few small marks above the side 1 track listing, but no writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are clean, intact and undamaged.
Both discs have been carefully audibly graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
