IN THE MOST DESIRABLE CONDITION THAT YOU COULD FIND ANYWHERE, IMMACULATE MINT RECORD LABELS, NEAR MINT NEW LOOKING VINYL DISC, BEAUTIFUL CLEAN GLOSSY NEAR MINT LAMINATED FLIP BACK SLEEVE, WITH ORIGINAL BLACK INNER BAG, STUNNING AUDIO SOUND QUALITY!!

Summary:

A GENUINELY SCARCE opportunity to purchase what can only be described as a most BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED example of The Beatles RARE First Issue UK MONO Vinyl LP, 'Yellow Submarine', that we have offered in a long while.

The album was issued as the Soundtrack album for the cartoon film ‘Yellow Submarine’although it did not include some of the tracks that were featured in the film. Yellow Submarine spent just two weeks at the No 3 position. At the same time The Beatles White Album was still at No 1.

Album Description and Condition:

Released by EMI/Apple UK on 17 January 1969, this ORIGINAL UK MONO FIRST PRESSING is on the Custom Dark Green Apple Label with ‘Sold in UK..', and 'Mfd in UK' printed to both sides of the record label and ‘Apple Records’ label rim.

Without hesitation, both record labels are in BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED mint condition. We cannot detect any center spider trails to either side of this OUTSTANDING Set of UNDAMAGED record labels – difficult to fault them!

Side 1 stamped matrix is: XEX 715-1 and Side 2: XEX 716-1
Side 1 stampers: 3/GH and Side 2: 2/GG.

Both sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT DEEP GLOSS Vinyl Disc are in OUTSTANDING near mint condition. Hard to fault the NEW LOOKING Vinyl Disc, other than a couple of very faint surface hairlines to either side, which are difficult to detect - and it is clearly obvious that this CAREFULLY PRESERVED album has BARELY BEEN PLAYED - money back guarantee if not completely satisfied!

Audio Quality:

The playing quality is OUTSTANDING - through each and every track - without any nasty background crackle, clicks, jumps or distortion. A POWERFUL and STRONG Mono sound - the orchestral tracks on this album sound SUPERB - only to be expected with such BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED Vinyl.

The Vinyl LP comes in its ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bag, which is in BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED, UNDAMAGED condition. NO tearing to the Die Cut Hole, NO tearing to the top of the sleeve where the record is inserted and not one seam split to any of the edges – VERY RARE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION.

….And is protected in its ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE MONO Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Flip Back Sleeve, with two thick RED horizontal lines printed above and below the sleeve notes to the reverse panel, together with the ‘mono’ catalogue number PMC 7070. The Sleeve OMITS the sleeve makers name and patent number (which normally reads ‘Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd’ followed the patent number) to the bottom flipback on the reverse of the sleeve – this sleeve has no reference to this (see scan).

This MONO Sleeve is an EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, FIRM example, in near mint condition. The LAMINATED Front Panel still retains an ULTRA GLOSSY appearance, the colours are BRIGHT and VIVID, NO fading, with just a little mild record indentation. The back panel of the sleeve is CLEAN and WHITE and all three flip backs are UNDAMAGED. There is NO record indentation to the reverse of the sleeve. The top and bottom edges are FLAT and UNDAMAGED – NO seam splits. The Spine edge is in PERFECT condition and clearly reads ‘The Beatles – Yellow Submarine’. There is NO feathering to the opening edge, and only mild handling signs to the opening edge. Without doubt, an all round BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE of this RARE MONO SLEEVE.

An All round OUTSTANDING Example of this EXTREMELY RARE UK First Issue Beatles MONO LP. Looking at this Album and its Sleeve, it is Hard to believe that it is now in its 40th year, and has been BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED in this REMARKABLE condition.
