Description
A very rare acetate of the George Martin Orchestra soundtrack for the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" film recorded originally in two three hour sessions at Abbey Road in October 1968 I believe. There are six entirely orchestral tracks on this acetate from those sessions, all or most of which ended up as the B side of the Beatles 'Yellow Submarine' album. The 'Yellow Submarine' theme is reprised during the last track. There are no discernable vocals on the acetate - orchestral instrumental material only. There appears to be a signature on the label, I can't tell whose it is, but George Martin & renowned Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick were present during the recordings, so it may be Emerick's ? I really can't be sure. There are small marks to the disc, but it played through okay & without skipping. Uk shipping shown, overseas at cost but would have to go insured.
