THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PMC 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text with 'Apple Records' worded rims.
Matrix numbers: XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1
Stamper codes: 1/M & 1/H
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed within an earliest-type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover (without printer's credit on the lower flipback) & complete with its original die-cut, matt-black inner-sleeve.

A clean & bright pair with a small amount of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine. Strong daylight reveals a harmless light ring mark from contact with the turntable and one or two light fingernail scuff lines but definitely nothing I would call a scratch. Closer inspection directly does little more than highlight these blemishes adding only some wispy paper hairlines from this inner- sleeve.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has received infrequent, careful play and the sound is full, strong & clean throughout with no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion or crackle. My single careful play-check at volume found no clicks, pops or any other such distraction. In fact, apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there really is little to fault on this impressive sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A highly respectable example of this easily blemished cover which retains a clean high-gloss front laminate where the only significant signs of wear are mild bends to the upper and lower right corners & three small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge. Both opening edges are clean with just a few tiny 'pushes' but all corners are square & free from any major bumps or bruising.
The exposed rear panel is clean, white & unblemished. All flipbacks are fully intact & undamaged and both upper and lower seams are smooth & unstressed with no flaking or missing laminate.
The spine is clean, fully worded & unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a little wear to the upper edge but none whatsoever to the centre window or any seam.
