Condition
Labels: EXCELLENT
Some spindle marks around each centre hole but no other signs of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright & glossy surfaces where the significant mark in daylight is a light, non-feelable 7cm fingernail scuff on side 1. Close inspection under my halogen desk lamp reveals some unavoidable paper hairlines from the matt inner-sleeve, but no further marks or any scratches to either side.
Play: EXCELLENT
This impressive sounding copy has received just careful play on good quality equipment. All tracks play without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. Apart form a hint of minor background in the bands between tracks & a few light ticks on the orchestral track 'Sea of Time', there is little to fault on either side.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A superb vibrant and glossy front panel with just a touch of storagewear rubbing but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or wear. All corners are clean and unbumped with just minimal shelfwear to the lower two but both opening edges are clean and undamaged. The rear panel is clean and white where it should be with just a few faint fingermarks but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & intact and both seams and the perfectly worded spine are unsplit, unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
General storagewear creasing but no tears or seam splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover. All text & images © Bright Field Music 2008
