CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A vivid & vibrant pair with just a small amount of spindle trails to the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT
This extremely respectable mono copy retains its superb deep-gloss surfaces which apart from some unavoidable faint inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2, are unmarked in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals just a few superficial wispy hairlines but no other signs of wear or anything I would call a scratch on this very well looked after and seldom played copy.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This immensely powerful sounding disc has received just a few careful plays on high-end equipment by a contemporary reviewer and happily all tracks play cleanly & clearly with no traces of any groove/play wear distortion or background noise. Side 1's 'Hey Bulldog' is a real highlight and the delicate orchestral side 2 sounds superb with just a hint of unavoidable light background in the quieter spots, but no ticks, clicks or other such distractions.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A clean & bright front panel with some moderate storagewear but no major faults. There is some bending to the left corners and light wear to the opening edges, but no tears or splits anywhere. The rear panel has some dirt on it from storage but is otherwise free of any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, seams & the fully worded spine are all smooth & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & flat with a small side seam split but no damage to the centre hole or top opening edge.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
