THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
1969 1st UK *MONO* PRESSING LP
This 1969 early 1st UK MONO pressing appears here on the dark green Apple label: PMC 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with no tax/price code on either label.
This disc is housed in an early front laminated, tri-flipback cover without the printer's credit or patent numbers on the lower flipback.
Complete with its original die-cut, matt-black inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A rich and vibrant pair with just a few light spindle marks to each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean, bright & deep-gloss surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches anywere to be seen. Close inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals some insignificant light surface marks and hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and the few careful plays this copy has received.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This respectable copy has received not been played very often at all. Every track on side 1 plays with full-bodied mono power and my careful playcheck at volume picked up only a touch of wear to the peaks on the final chorus of 'Yellow Submarine' but no other significant audible wear. The delicate orchestral side plays overall cleanly & clearly with just an occasional hint of background but no annoying clicks or other distractions.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
An respectable example of this early variant which retains an undamaged and unscratched high-gloss laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other significant signs of wear. There is minor bruising and rubbing to the lower right corner especially and some light wear to the opening edges. The cover's only major fault is a small section or missing paper towards the rear opening edge. Apart from that, the rear panel is very clean with inly a few faint fingermarks but no writing or other blemishes. All flipbacks are perfectly clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
General handling & storagwear but no splits or tears to any part.
