'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
1969 UK 1st **MONO** PRESSING LP
This excellent and rare 1969 first mono pressing is on the UK dark green Apple: PMC 7070
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records..' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible on any label.
Housed in a laminated, tri-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse cover with the 'Patent' number on the lower flipback.
Complete with original matt back inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 715-1 & XEX 716-1
Stamper numbers: 1/T & 1/T

Visual: EXCELLENT
Very bright and clean high-gloss surfaces point to the fact that this disc has been handled carefully and not frequently played.
Viewed closely under a halogen desk lamp there are just a few light hairlines and some sleeve removal marks but no heavy or deep scratches.
Certainly 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Carefully and seldom played this sound quality on this copy is superb.
Side one plays loudly and clearly with just two light clicks between tracks 4 & 5 but no trace of crackle or groovewear distortion.
The orchestral side is detailed and clear with just the occaisional low-level soft 'tick' but no crackle or loud sounding marks.
There are no jumps, repeats or any other audible wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean, bright and unyellowed with high-gloss laminate which bears just a few light creases towards the edges and a tiny 5mm mark above Ringo's head.
The corners have some light bruising and opening edges are in fine shape with just light wear but no tears or missing laminate.
The rear panel clean and white where it should be, with no age discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper.
The 'flipbacks' and seams are all clean and intact. The spine has a 5mm section of wear to the lower section but is intact and the wording is undamaged.
