THE BEATLES - 'YELLOW SUBMARINE'
This EXCELLENT 1st UK STEREO pressing dates from initial January 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7070
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK....' text.

Housed within an early-type front laminated, tri-flipback stereo cover without printer credits or Patent No. along the lower flipback.
This early copy comes complete with its original matt black, die-cut inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A clean unfaded & unblemished set with some spindle marks (mostly to label 2) around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy showing some harmless paper scuffs and light hairlines in strong daylight, but nothing deep or 'feelable'. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor blemishes, adding little else of any significance. Both sides of this cherished copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play on good equipment and there is no significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults throughout. My single play-check at volume detected a little low-level background on the delicate orchestral suite, but no clicks, pops or any other major audible distractions anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st class example of this early cover which retains a superb unscratched, unrubbed high-gloss front laminate where the only sign of wear is a light bend towards the upper left corner and a few tiny edge wrinkles. All of the corners themselves are sharp and unbumped and both opening edges are undamaged & unworn. The easily blemished rear panel is immaculate and free from any marks or wear of any kind.
All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and completely unworn.Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
A respectable example of this fragile component where the only significant fault is a 2cm tear to the centre window but there are no splits to any seam.
