Up for auction is this very rare stereo version of the famed Beatles-Yesterday and Today Butcher Cover album. This Lp and cover are in poor shape. The photos show that the cover has water damage. The bottom spine is split half way through. The pasted picture is peeling off already to reveal the butcher cover. All of this happened before I found it. I have only peaked under the portion of the cover that was already exposed. The story behind this one is that someone was bringing a box of records to a garage sale and the box got rained on. The garage sale proprietor obviously decided to sell the records anyway. As luck would have it, I must have been the first person to look through these, as 3 records into my dig I found this album, and as always, when you see a Beatles- Yesterday and Today album, you immediately hold it up to your eyes and try to see the tell-tale signs of the Butcher cover under the Trunk cover. Well, this time I was interrupted by the pasted over cover peeling off already, revealing the rare cover. Yeah, it would have been cooler to have seen a sealed copy of it between two Bob Dylan "Freewheelin' with Bob Dylan" LPs (with the four missing tracks), but alas, it was between some Andy Williams and Perez Prado LPs. (I love Perez Prado BTW)

This is a genuine Beatles butcher cover.
It has the pasted over cover partially peeling off (before I found it), exposing the original cover.
Condition: Poor. Split cardboard sleeve on bottom. No inner sleeve. Record is in poor shape too.
Here is a chance to own the holy grail of rock and roll LPs at an affordable price. Happy bidding.
