THE BEATLES: 'YESTERDAY' – SCARCE ORIGINAL UK **1st ISSUE** VINYL EP - GEP 8948
With the vinyl in FABULOUS mint minus condition, featured here is an original **UK 1st Issue** for the SCARCE Beatles 'Yesterday' EP.
Released in 1965 the four track Vinyl EP is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'Gramophone Co Ltd' Label rim and with 'Sold in UK..' Label Text. The side one Matrix Number is 7TCE 894-1, and the side 2 matrix is 7TCE 895-1. The side 1 stampers are: 'KT', '2' & 'T', and the side 2 stampers 'KT' and '1A'. The 'KT' tax code is clearly visible on the side 2 Record Label. The Vinyl disc comes in its original Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated 'Flip Back' Sleeve.
Both sides of the record labels are in STUNNING mint minus condition, Lovely Bright Unworn Record Labels showing only the lightest signs of any spider marks. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are also in SUPER mint minus condition, Gleaming, bright vinyl which has obviously hardly been played – STUNNING. The Sleeve is Clean and Bright and graded in excellent condition, showing only some mild indentation and creasing, & minimal age tanning spots to the reverse. There is a 1/4" nick to the front and reverse of the gate edge, but this is only slight and does not detract from the overall respectability of the sleeve.
