THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY AND TODAY'
Here is a 1966 U.S. 'second state' mono pressing of this infamous LP, which has 'trunk' cover pasted over the original banned Butcher cover.
Like all true paste-overs, The 'V' neck of Ringo's coat is visible in the area towards the front opening edge (see final listing image).
Housed in a Scranton produced cover, identified by the number '3' on the rear panel, which used water soluble glue making it the easiest of the Butchers to peel should you wish to do so.

Like the cover, the disc was also pressed in Scranton and bears the rainbow Capitol label: T-2553

Complete with original orange Capitol advertising inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Both are bright & undamaged bearing just a touch of wear to either centre hole.
Disc: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with light wear, mostly from from inner-sleeve storage & removal, but no scratches or other significant blemishes.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A fully intact example with clean front panel showing moderate/age wear. There is wear to all seams with a 4cm slip to the upper right. the rear panel has some age-discolouration but is free from any writing or missing paper. The upper spine text is readable but the catalogue number in the lower section is worn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & uncreased but with splits to the lower and one side seam.
