BEATLES YESTERDAY AND TODAY - SECOND STATE BUTCHER COVER ALBUM (record & cover).
A picture is worth a thousand words and as condition can be subjective- please look at the photos and make your own determination. (Written description below photos.)

This auction is for a BEATLES YESTERDAY AND TODAY - SECOND STATE BUTCHER COVER ALBUM (record & cover; no inner sleeve). This is the MONO PASTE OVER OR 2ND STATE VERSION, Number T2553. The Butcher cover can be seen where the original owner began peeling it- then stopped (thank goodness!). You can clearly see the extent of the attempted peel in the photos. You can also see the tell-tale "V" bleed through (Ringo's neckline in the butcher image) as well as the legs showing through in the bottom corner. The top right edge also shows the paste over. The number on the back, in the lower right corner next to the RIAA emblem is 6 which corresponds with the LA pressing.

The cover has some wear but is in good condition overall- see photos. It is intact. The title spine is split in center, the top right corner edge is also split and slightly frayed (both shown in photos). Other wear include some moisture stains (primarily just on the back; but a some also along the right edge of front).

The album itself is also in good condition having some wear but not nothing too serious. It has general wear with surface scratches but other than one they do not appear to be very deep. I listened to the 2 songs that the one scratch affected (you can see it in the photo, side 2) and it made it most of the way through both songs without skipping, then hit a skip towards the end of What Goes On. (I only listened to the affected songs- I didnt see any other questionable scratches). You can hear the usual crackling but otherwise it plays smoothly. Side two has a moisture splash on the center label; but not too bad and it didnt even pick up in the photo. Please email any questions. Bidders read terms prior to bidding. I am sorry, but I will not be accepting bids from zero feedback bidders unless you contact me prior to bidding.
