Description
THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'
The scarce UK 1st pressing of their penultimate 4-track EP release dates from March 1966 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8948
A genuine red & white EMI 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-1
Stamper codes: 3/GM & 3/GA
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'Garrod' printed cover.

Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean and intact with a small collection of spindle trails and slight 'touch-up' to and around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, unmarked, deep-gloss playing surfaces which display just a handful of barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received minimal careful play on good equipment and the sound throughout is clean, clear & unworn. Even the delicate 'Yesterday' plays without any noticeable background crackle or interference.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A very respectable example of this hard to find cover which bears just a few light handling wrinkles to the front panel laminate, but no heavy creasing or wear. There is no damage to the corners or opening edges and the rear panel is clean, white and blemish-free.
**PLEASE NOTE: This item is located in and will be shipped from AUSTRIA. 1st class international postage to UK addresses will be 5 GBP**
