1966 UK 1st PRESSING EP
**SUPERB COPY**
This rare UK 1966 1st pressing 4-track EP is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8948
Both carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in its original front laminated, rounded flipback picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-1
Stamper numbers: 1/H & 3/P
Labels: NEAR MINT
Just one tiny spindle mark on each label.
Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS
Both sides of this outstanding copy appear 'as new' in daylight with deep-gloss, totally unmarked surfaces.
Close inspection daylight & directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a single stylus hairline on track 1 side 2, but no further marks or scratches.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This copy apears to have had just a single play by its original owner.
Apart from a few light clicks on 'Yesterday', all tracks play cleanly and clearly without any groovewear distortion or background intereference.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
An very clean and flat example with an undamaged front panel which apart from the unavoidable inner ring mark, displays no creasing or wear of any kind.
All corners are clean and sharp and both opening edges are perfectly clean, sharp and totally unworn.
The rear panel is clean and white, and apart from a slight bend to the upper left corner, is 'as new'.
All seams are strong unstressed and unsplit.
