THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'
1966 UK **1st PRESSING**EP
**IN ORIGINAL SHOP BAG**
This hard to find 1966 1st pressing EP is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8948
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in the correct front laminated, rounded-flipback picture cover.
Also present is an original 1960's record shop paper bag from 'Rhymes & Rhythms' of Kingston-Upon-Thames, London.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-1
Stamper numbers: 2/P & 3/O
Labels: NEAR MINT
Visual: EXCELLENT
Bright and glossy sufaces bearing just a few wispy paper hairlines under a halogen desk lamp.
There are no scuffs, marks or scratches and both sides of the disc lies totally 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Clearly played only a few times, the sound is rich and clear with no trace of groovewear distortion audible on any track.
Acceptable minor background is audible on the run-ins but there are no clicks, pops, hiss, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean and glossy front panel bearing minor storagewear and one small crease towards the upper left corner but no other faults.
The corners are square and un-bumped and opening edges are clean and undamaged.
The rear panel is bright and white with minor paper ageing but no marks, writing or missing paper.
The 'flipbacks' are all clean and undamaged and the seams are intact, unstressed and unsplit.
