Description
Nice Beatles "Yesterday and Today" 1st state Stereo #5 "Re-issue" Butcher Cover LP. I have had this for several years and if I recall correctly I think these were referred to at the time as German re-issues, but I am going by memory here so I can't say for certain, but I am pretty sure it was made in Germany as I do recall asking the seller where it was made at the time, so please keep that in mind. It's not a bad looking re-issue, and it has a seperate slick and the cover is folded like the original. Not as accurate as the famous Japan re-issues of course, but none of them are but this one is certainly better than alot of them out there that seem to have a more photo copied look to me. This one has a more printed look than some, although the colors are a little off when comparing it to an actual original 66' Capitol L.A. pressing, and the stock is of course a bit thinner and not textured like an original. Again this is a limited edition un-official copy, and not an original. The starting bid is what I paid for it several years ago. These did not come with LP's or inner sleeves originally, so this auction is for the cover only, and no inner sleeve or record is included. It is in excellent shape as you can see in the photos and it will be packed very securely. One day auction in the interest of a quick sale so prompt payment is appreciated. Sold as is.
