Beatles for Sale - Superb 1st Pressing 1964, PCS 3062
This LP was bought by my mother who was rather taken by The Beatles. Unfortunately (or fortunately!) there was no record player in her house so the LP was hardly played except on my (GL88 and Ortofon) hi-fi equipment on rare occasions. For the last 40 years it has been stored at my mother's house and only came to light when her house was cleared. (A copy of 'Help' in similar condition will be offered shortly).
I believe it is a genuine, early 1964 UK 1st stereo pressing, yellow & black Parlophone label.
Labels feature 'Sold in UK...' and 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..'
'KT' by side 2 centre hole.
Gatefold cover with stereo logo.
Original Emitex..' inner sleeve lightly creased from storage.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1

Condition
Vinyl - Mint. No marks or scratches.
No spindle marks. Rarely played in the early days, and not at all in the last 40 years.
Cover - Virtually mint. Please note that the LP has always been stored in an extra thick, seamed, plastic sleeve as used by record shops in the 1960s to protect their stock. This outer sleeve has wrinkled slightly but has preserved the LP and cover in mint condition.
