Description
Here is the first of several original american-issued Beatles albums still in the shrinkwrap...The Beatles "The Beatles Christmas Album" Apple SBC-100 issued to fan club members only in 1970...still in the untorn shrinkwrap. This is a compilation of all the Christmas messages/material from the previous 7 singles issued from 1963 through 1969. Both cover and disc read "Not For Sale". It is guaranteed real as - not only does it meet all the authenticating criteria - I've included a "faux" copy to compare (as a bonus to this auction). It's really neat to see the differences side by side. Of course, on the real one you can see Ringo's left eyeball in the bottom-left front photo, you can read "Theatre Royal" in the next photo to the right (but it's not overly-bold) , the title on the label is exactly 2 1/4" (not 2 1/2" or otherwise), and the ring indentation around the spindlehole is 1 1/2" (not the much larger ring). So if you've always wanted to have a real one in near mint condition AND it's faux counterpart for comparison...here they are. U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed USPS priority shipping (media mail available at $3.00 upon request). International buyer please inquire for shipping costs. Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer. Please email me with any questions.
