Description

Here's a rare one:  The International Battle of the Century:  The Beatles vs The Four Seasons on VJ DX 30.  The gatefold jacket is original with some age and storage wear.  There is some tape on the seams.  Some of the writing along the spine has been lost--reads "The International Battle of The .......................les VS The Four Seasons.  On the back, The Beatles! has been written in as the winner.  Now here's the problem:  The included Beatles LP has Introducing the Beatles and The Beatles SEPARATED by the spindle hole which marks it as an unauthorized pressing.  The color band looks bad too.  I doubt if this is the Beatles LP which originally came with the album.  The Four Seasons LP is right with the oval logo and the printing above the spindle hole.  So you have an original jacket and one original LP and a boot.  Also no poster.  Still, a genuine VJ Introducing the Beatles could be found, possibly at a reasonable price.  So I'm going to run this and see what happens.  I suspect it can be had for much less than the $500 most of these without posters are bringing.  The Beatles LP is in nice condition, strong VG+ and the Four Seasons is not quite as good.  Tell me what it's worth.  Winner pays $9 postage in US, $15 to Europe, $18 to Japan.
