Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"With The Beatles" LP, a UK import, Parlophone PCS 3045, released in 1963. This is a much scarcer Stereo pressing. It's a first pressing with "Parlophone Co. Ltd." in the perimeter print, but no "Sold In The UK" text. In addition, the third track on side two is misspelled "You've Really GOTTA Hold On Me", and the publishing credits for "Money" are Jobete (should be Dominion Belinda). Side one matrix: YEX 110-2 with "GT" at the 3 o'clock position; side two matrix: YEX 111-2 with "H" at the 3 o'clock position. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition; each side has several, light non-feelable marks. There is one feelable scuff mark on "I Wanna Be Your Man"; this was spot checked and there were no problems with play on my (cheap) stereo. Both sides still retain their full gloss. There is damage to the side 2 label, as shown in the picture. Cover is in VG- condition with light general age wear, stains on the back and some creases on the front. Comes with it's original Emitex inner sleeve, in VG- condition. Certainly not a NM copy, but a nice place holder until a better on comes along.
