The Beatles- Capitol Records ST. 2553 *Rare* 1966 Stereo *Paste-0ver Cover (Butcher Underneath) LP "Yesterday and Today". + an *0riginal 1966 Non-Butcher Stereo Cover is also Included. >n0te< the *Non-Butcher Cover has been Picked At a bit at Bottom Left.     >n0te<  I don't know if it's an "E Z Peel" or not, But I spoke with a Seller that has Peeled Several Dozen Butcher Covers and was told that the Low RIAA Number could indicate a Water Based Glue/Adhesive as opposed to the 0il based Adhesive (think Glue Rings) used at some of the Capitol Factories of the Time/Era. Also, Picture Number Two (2) shows the Difference in Size/Width between a Standard Copy and the *Paste-0ver Cover. The Paste-0ver is approximately 3/16" of an Inch Narrower than a 1966 non-Butcher Cover. That is because the *0ffending Cover had to be trimmed so the  Trunk Slick would Fit.*That Information is garnered from "The Goldmine Standard Catalog of American Records" and "The Beatles Price and Reference Guide for American Records". The Mono Version 0utnumbers the Stereo Version approximately 6 or 8 to 1.
**2ND State Stereo* Butcher Cover RIAA (2) - This Cover has N0 Splits, Tears or Writing. A Solid Cover with a *Nice Front Slick, (The Corners have *Not been Picked at.) Legible Spine Print with some Shelf-Wear/Flaking in some areas and some Shelf-Wear on the Top and Bottom Edges (SEE Pictures). There is some Rub-Wear in some areas of the Slick and the Back Cover is Clean with some Age-Related Toning/Rub-Wear. Ringo's *Turtle Neck "V" is Clearly Visible beside the Trunk.. A Decent Cover that would be a Great Candidate for a Peel as the *Butcher Slick is Untouched under the *Trunk Slick ! ** VG (+) maybe ++.
Vinyl- The Labels are Fabulous and show Little if any Wear or Spindle Marks. The Vinyl is Glossy, Clean and shows some Mild to Moderate Signs of Handling. A7 A9 Plates. **VG to VG (+).
Capitol Records Printed Inner Sleeve- A Capitol '66; SOUNDS Great ! Inner Sleeve with some Splitting at Sides & Bottom seams.
**1966 Non-Butcher Stereo Cover/RIAA (4) - N0 Splits or Tears . A Structurally Solid Cover with a Legible Spine and some mostly Mild Shelf-Wear on the Top and Bottom Edge(s). Some Age-Related Toning/Small Ink on the Back Cover. The Trunk Slick has been Picked at a bit at the Bottom Left (SEE Pictures). *SEE Above about *How to Determine if a "Yesterday and Today" Cover is a Butcher without tearing at it. The Rest of the Slick is Untouched. **VG (+) to ++.

**About Me** Longtime Collector. I began to seriously collect in the mid 1970's as a hobby and have always searched for Authentic and 0riginal items. I understand that many of you consider these purchases an *Investment (me too). Most Items were never intended for Re-Sale. Statements in these listings have been researched and are correct to the best of my knowledge.  Regards_fred
