Description
Here is your chance to add a "Holy Grail" item to your Beatles LP collection. It is a beautiful First Pressing 1969 UK copy of the legendary "Abbey Road" (PCS 7088) LP. This outstanding UK 1st pressing dates from initial September 1969 release on the dark green Apple Records label (Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1). The disc bears the the dark green Apple label with 'Her Majesty' omitted from the side 2 label. It has become a consensus among audiophiles that this is the best listening experience for this amazing album. This copy is VG++ or better with some light detectable wear. There is some extremely faint surface noise but no "rough" areas and it is an extremely satisfying listening experience. It is housed in an immaculate, fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo misaligned beneath the rear track-listing, complete with original "EMI 'Patents No...'" inner-sleeve.
The buyer will pay $4 for shipping via USPS Media Mail. I typically ship within 24 hours of payment. Be sure to check out my other items, including an equally amazing First UK Pressing of "All Things Must Pass," as I will gladly combine shipping.
