Description

Beatles...Original Red Parlophone 45 ....Love Me Do . / P.S. I love You Cat. number 45-R 4949 ......and the matrix numbers etched in the dead wax is ...A-Side 7XCE 17144-1N ...and the B-side 7XCE 17145-1N,This is the verion with Ringo on Drums , but without the tambourine , with the text "The Parlophone Company . Ltd" around the rim

This of course was what started it all off for The Beatles (leaving aside the German singles!!) and is an essenitial piece of any worldwide Beatles collection .

The 45 has a little "red" colour loss around the "A" side spindle hole(the other side is fine ...see the pics) ,but no writing on either labels . The centre is fully and firmly intact with no loose "prongs"......The condition of the 45 on both sides in VG+ , there are quite a few small marks visable when tilted to the light , but no deep marks, it plays as EX....This 45 comes in its original "wavy line" vintage Parlophone house sleeve.
