Matrix: XEX412-1N and XEX422-1N
Stampers: 1GP and 1/2GH
Both sides of this disc have a superb lustre with no dulling or any evidence of groove wear. Play back is clear and sharp, on all tracks, from this powerful mono mix. there is the inevitable background noise, more noticable between tracks and during the quieter passages. Under a bright lamp there are numerous, barely visible handling lines and a few small but more evident ones, which are audible here and there but not intrusive enough to spoil the overall enjoyment of this wonderful copy. There are no jumps or stalls on this disc.
The labels are completely intact with the 'old gold' lettering strong and legible, as well as only showing the faintest of spindle trails. Some of my photos give the impression of silvery or faded text but rest assured this is purely down to the camera
The EJ Day sleeve is not in the best of order and is how you see it in the photos above.
The original polythene lined inner sleeve is in fair condition, with age browning.
All in all a great copy of this relatively rare, old style label, parlophone disc.
