Beatles-Rel. 1971 McCartney 45 Uncle Albert Double-Sided Whole Apple Labels!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Beatles labels collectors know that the Jacksonville plant is responsible for unique label variations that have become sought after.

This is one of the more famous ones.

Apart from the obvious feature of both labels being printed on whole Apples, this is the only pressing that features the misprinted “Pual” error on a whole Apple label!

Sleeve:  Company Apple sleeve is present, and is in sparkling EX condition.  Corners are razor-sharp.  Slight record outdent, slight serration outdent.  One corner has a light crease, not bad.

Early 1970’s Apple sleeves are textured and porous.  The specs you see in the photos are not dust, they are the light reflecting off of the texture.

A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: NM/EX.  “Too Many People” side looks nearly unplayed.  “Uncle Albert” side has two light lines not heavy enough to be considered scuffs.  Beautiful copy!

Labels: EX both sides.  Looking very closely at the “Too Many People” playhole between the title and the Apple stem, you can see that there are actually two labels affixed!

Plates: Z3/ Z3.  (In that order.)  Hand-etched letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this a Jacksonville pressing.

These 45’s don’t show up very often at all.  It will either make the perfect Christmas gift for your collector, or your keeper copy.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
