READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles-Related 1965 LP Louise Harrison All About The Beatles, “Sample Copy” Cover!

It’s no secret among Beatles fans that George and Louise had a rough relationship.  First, there was this album from 1965, which George considered a “tell-all,” that he found embarrassing.  30 years later, there was Louise’s bed-and-breakfast in Illinois, which she called “A Hard Day’s Night,” using George’s name and her sibling status to promote it.  They reconciled close to George’s death. 

He never had to worry, though.  This LP became an instant collector’s item with such a miniscule distribution.

VERY hard to find one of these. 

(Isn’t it cosmically funny that George believed in reincarnation, and this album was released on a label called, “RE-CAR?” Kind of like “Maclen.” Or “JOKO”)

Vinyl--- Such a strong VG+ that we should be tempted to call it Excellent.  Boasts mostly shine, but there are a couple very short scuffs.

Plates--- Same info as on the record labels.

Cover--- VG+.  Name written on the front at the top.  All seams and spine are muscular-strong, NO SPLITS.

Back cover has the “Sample Copy” stamp at the top right corner.

Labels--- VG+.  Full-colored, but there are a moderate amount of spindle marks.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
