Beatles-Rel. 45 1969 Trash UNDOCUMENTED Apple Label Golden Slumbers, NM!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Collectors are well aware that this single was issued with two distinctly different variations in the A-side title.

Los Angeles copies had titles that read, “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight,” with the two song titles separated by a forward slash.

Scranton copies had titles that read, “Golden Slumbers and Carry That Weight,” with the two song titles separated by the word, “and.”  Both copies used Los Angeles’ bright green labels.

This copy has never been discussed in any of the great books, nor has there been any copies that have sold on any of the venues I’ve researched over the years.  It features dark green Apple labels, is also a Scranton pressing and it doesn’t have any separating features in the title except a hand-drawn line which is printed on the label.

I have never seen one before or since purchasing this copy many years ago.

Vinyl: NM/NM.  Store stock new.

Plates: F4/F3.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

Labels: NM/EX.  Side 2 label has a trace of dirtwear that wasn’t on it at the factory.

Sleeve: VG+.  Minimal wear to both sides.  Sticker stain on front.  White wear on the edges, but NO SPLIT SEAMS.

**Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.**

**A funny little aside, I can’t test-play records, but I did keep notes long ago.  My notes here, say that the song is all well and good until the drums come in.  He sounds like he’s playing with baseball bats.  “Clumsy mix.”  Well, now I’m curious…**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
