• “STRAIGHT UP” LP by Badfinger

• This is Apple Records SW – 3387.

• This LP was released December 13, 1971.

• The LP has “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” on the uncut-Apple label.

• Badfinger was one of the Beatles’ new artists released under their new Apple Records label.

• Badfinger was referred to as “The Apple House Band” by George Harrison during “The Concert For Bangladesh” in Madison Square Garden.

• This LP, with 12 cuts, has become one of Badfinger’s most desirable LPs, as it contains 2 of their top singles hits: “Baby Blue” and “Day After Day”.

• Todd Rundgren produced all but 4 of the cuts on this LP. Those 4 cuts were produced by George Harrison.

• THE LP COVER is in STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION and STILL in its ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP. The shrink wrap has a couple of very small “snags” and a 1-inch split on the top edge. There is slight wear on the two corners at the top and bottom of the opening and at the bottom of the spine. There is also a small “push” on the corner at the bottom of the opening and on the corner at the bottom of the spine. The original store price sticker is on the shrink wrap on the front cover near the top of the opening.

• I’m sure during your vinyl hunting you’ve noticed that this dark–colored cover was very easily prone to show wear, especially ring wear. But this cover has been nicely protected by the shrink wrap from such wear for these past 50+ years.

• This LP comes with the UNCOMMON STICKER on the shrink wrap that promotes the band and the cut “Day After Day”. (This is only the third copy of this LP I’ve found with this STICKER!)

• The VINYL IS IN NICE/STRONG VG to VG+ CONDITION with some very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs, (none of them “feel-able” at all).
