Description

From my collection, here is a Rare Beatles-related Record Club LP.

·       “UNDER THE JASMINE TREE” by The Modern Jazz Quartet.

·       This is Apple Records ST-53353 and it was released in 1969.

·       This is the RARE CAPITOL RECORD CLUB ISSUE of the LP on the Beatles’ Apple Records label.

·       The small print on the bottom of the sliced-Apple side reads “Manufactured Under License From Capitol Records, Inc. Hollywood and Vine Streets, Hollywood, California”.

·       This Capitol Record Club issue is also identified by the LP number “3353” that is preceded by “5” and by the 3 slanted bars at the top left of the LP cover.

·       The COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with very light overall wear. There are a couple of very slight corner pushes and a very small seam split (half inch) at bottom right near the opening. The white cover is notorious for showing wear, but this cover is nice and clean and shows only a tiny hint of wear about 2 inches under the word “TREE”.

·       The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ CONDITION with just a few hairline scuffs.

·       It’s a RARE CAPITOL RECORD ISSUE that is tough to find these days and a nice addition to any vinyl collection.

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding. And please check my other auctions for other LPs you may want to add to your collection. Be high bidder on several and combine shipping! Winning bidder must remit payment within 5 days of auction close by PayPal. Add $4.00 for shipping to a U.S. address via media mail with tracking.
