Description
This is one of the Mobile Fidelity UHQR limited editions of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". These were numbered limited editions of 5,000; this inclueds a numbered sheet as #1794. The UHQR pressings were done on a special ultra high grade vinyl compound from JVC which yielded a very fine, super low noise mirror like surface. I don't know the weight but it appears to be at least 200grams. If you've bneen through the standard US, British & Japanese pressings this will come as an even further revelation. The surface noise is so low as to be nearly nonexistant & the record itself is dead flat. The outer case does have a small bit of splitting at the top & bottom corners of the outer spine, otherwise it's in excellent conditon. The inner jacket is mint & the only reason I would not call the LP itself mint is because it has been played a couple (as in maybe 3-4) times. Extremely rare to see one of these on line!
