If you already own a mono 'White Album' from 1968 it is unlikely that the first disc is in this unbelievable condition
Side 1, in particular was usually played the most and almost always has sound deterioration, clicks or skips
Here is an opportunity to acquire this beautiful example from a TV/Radio library, with vinyl surfaces that look unplayed and although there are spindle trails on both labels, the disc has clearly been handled with extreme care in order to produce the best possible sound
It is likely that just this disc was sent out to the TV/Radio company as a sampler, without the rest of the package
The seldom seen Side 1 mother code 333 was probably incorrectly stamped, as it seems to be unique to the 'White Album' mono

The Vinyl
Visually: Disc 1: This is the best example I have ever seen - both sides are completely unmarked, even under a lamp and reflected daylight I cannot see any lines or blemishes. I have held both sides against strong sunlight and all that is revealed are wispy handling lines from bag removal
Audio:
Sound quality is excellent throughout and the run-ins are near silent - the entire album plays flawlessly - just two soft pops in the fade out between track two and three, side 1, although I cannot see a mark or blemish and the groove looks pristine Analogue vinyl will always produce some peak wear and this disc is no exception, especially at nearly 50yrs old - it will not sound like a digitally remastered CD, thankfully
