Both discs have retained a good gloss lustre, with no groove whitening but do display numerous fairly light needle lines, which do produce random pop/ticks, moreso on sides 1 and 2. Sides 3 and 4 play through with very little audible interference
However, sound quality is excellent throughout and the whole double album plays through with no skips or stalls

Both labels are free from any unwanted writing but do display numerous spindle trails
*
The G & L first day issue cover, with its low number 0047731, is in reasonably good condition. Like most originals it has turned a beige/cream tone and does suffer from missing laminate along the spine. However, the overall structure of the sleeve is excellent, with no serious defects and tight flipacks. Please bear in mind that the camera images make the cover look much whiter than it is, being in average condition and far from perfect

The original black die cut inner sleeves have seam splits and creases

The 'Lips' lyric poster is a genuine original but has been sellotaped along the folds
*
The four photos were missing, so I have included a near mint set
*
All in all, a very nice example of this iconic album, in 'Mono' with a low numbered cover
