3rd Pressing
PCS 3045-Stereo
Matrix: YEX 110-2 and YEX 111-2 (unchanged from 1st pressing)
Stampers: 4MO and 3MD
Both sides of the disc have retained their original lustre, with no dulling and only the wispiest of surface handling marks. Audio is excellent with just a hint of peak wear but nothing to detract from the warmth of this stereo mix. Playback is near perfect on all tracks, however, there are some mild clicks between tracks 1-2, side one and 3-4, side two but luckily, these do not encroach into any of the songs at all.
The labels are in top condition, with all text undamaged and the yellow 'Parlophones', vibrant. There is the usual collection of spindle trails around the centre areas.
The 'small' Stereo, Garrod and Lofthouse cover is in wonderful condition, with a number of thumb creases near the opening edge and some smaller ones around the perimeter. The corners are square and the open edges are sharp. The ultra thin spine is near perfect and the unprotected back panel is in fantastic condition, showing mild age toning and little else. The flipbacks are superb.
The 'patents applied for' Emitex, polythene lined, inner sleeve is completely intact, with just age toning and a 2cm tear to the die cut centre, visible in the photo above.
All in all, a superb example of this hard to find variant
