Ultra rare original Test press LP. This came to me years ago from a friend who worked at RSO it came with it's release cover- well sort of-more on this in a moment.
The test press which SHOULD have the number -as listed on the cover you will be getting- 2394 102 BUT the matrix on the record reads 2349 102-which generally means there was an earlier assigned number. Very strange. Some of the other things I had from him seemed to have strange numbering including some matrix numbered test presses that were never released-so who knows. UK test pressings from RSO are generally rare and this is one the rarest.
It is in hardly touched condition.
Finally the cover. I can't find my release copy but I am sure the copy I had wasn't like this . In the one side of the gatefold the pic of the BEE-GEES-its them through the main covers Keyhole seems to be simply pasted inside. I can see the printers lines to make sure it's in place-it just seems odd. If you have a copy and it's like that-then that's fine. I just wondered if it was a partly temp cover.
Anyway just for the TEST PRESS itself this is a rare item. Oh and the released cover is in spanking nick too apart from very gentle rubbing on the corners.
