Der 5. Symphonie ist das bekannteste Werk Beethovens, und das meist aufgeführte Musikstück überhaupt
Ich habe dieses Album in 1970 (!) auf einem Antiquitätenmarkt gekauft, als es solche Dinger noch in Überfluss gab. Vor allem weil der Zustand der Schallplatten neuwertig, und glänzend war (und immer noch ist), und das Album selber sehr gut erhalten ist.
Jetzt hat es bei mir 50 Jahren unbenützt als schöner Gegenstand im Regal gestanden, und ich verkleinere meinen Haushalt. Ich habe einmal die erste Platte mit einem 78 Saphiernadel gespielt, und der Klang ist sehr gut. Alle 8St. Platten in einwandfreier Zustand.
An den Streifen (sieht man im Licht) beim Mittelloch der Schallplatten ist zu erkennen, daß die nur ca 3 Mal aufgelegt wurden.
Geschätzt ca 1928. Gespielt von den Wiener Philharmoniker, Dirigent Franz Schalk. Noch besser geht nicht!

The 5th symphony is Beethoven's most famous work and the most frequently performed piece of music ever I bought this album at an antiques market in the 1970's (!) when things like this were plentiful. Mainly because the condition of the records was (and still is) mint and brilliant, and the album itself is in very good condition. Now it has stood unused as a beautiful object on my shelf for 50 years and I am downsizing my household. I once played the first record with a 78 sapphire needle and the sound is very good. The records have probably never been played with a steel needle. Every 8 hours Plates in perfect condition.

The stripes (can be seen in the light) at the center hole of the records show that they were only played about 3 times. Estimated around 1928. Played by the Vienna Philharmonic, conducted by Franz Schalk. Best as can be!
