Offered is the 1st Edition Pressing of Beethoven - The Nine Symphonies - Leonard Bernstein  - New York Philharmonic  on the well-regarded Columbia 2 Eye Grey and White 360 Stereo Label.

All eight records are lightly played and in investment-grade condition.  The labels show minimal spindlewear (please see our photo gallery, label close-ups). Hand written notes on the original inner sleeves indicate that the LPs were recorded on stereo tape (likely for listening) thus preserving the vinyl condition.

This Box Set Edition, with its metal embossed image of the superb Ludwig Von Beethoven on the front cover, remains one of the most captivating Classical Music Masterpieces of the 20th Century.

THE VINYL -  EX+ :  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear (please see close up photos of the labels).  All 16 of the LP surfaces retain all of their original gloss. 
 
Evident are some light marks from sleevewear, and a few shallow hairlines. Undamaged, Columbia 2 Eye Grey and White 360 Stereo Labels with bright color (please see photos). 
 
The records have been carefully handled, infrequently played, and the stereo audio playback is impressive.




THE BOX SET COVER -    EX+ :  Please see photos / well-stored with some minor scuffing / this cover is made of a higher grade material and is textured / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no writing, paper loss, paper tears, dirt, or stains.

Included is the book-style slipcase inner cover, the original 12 page booklet commemorating Leonard Bernstein's tenure as conductor of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and two other inserts you can see in our photo gallery. 




Each of the records are in their original paper and plastic lined inner sleeves.
