Beethoven Symphony 6 Klemperer UK Columbia SAX 2260
Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of the Beethoven Symphony No. 6. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2260) the labels are blue/green with a black stereophonic flash and silver “radio waves” and border. The record has some prominent scuffs – possibly spindle marks – which do not sound, and other minor surface scuffs, and it is of slightly worn appearance, however it plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has rubbed with creases and is torn almost the whole way across the cover near the bottom.
